So my brother just came in from outside the garage, where my dad was doing plug wires and general maintainence.
a "piece of rubber fell into the intake" and my dad is "dismantling" stuff as we speak
ohshit

quick update:
removal of the PCV valve and/or related parts = it broke, sending a piece in
might be a long night

If it is on the '91, then you'll be fine. The way the intake is designed, it is pretty difficult to get anything into the intake runners by accident.
Good luck anyways.. and you could just pull the two bolts for the EGR thingy, and see if it is in the intake.. without pulling it
