All about the price. There is no market for a good dependable car in the Northeast.

I was driving my truck.. thinking..the mileage was high for the year and it'* all me.

Commute with a guy that has an Accord. Seems nice enough..but not really sporty. I saw a car with an H on the front and ended up buying a 92 Prelude SI. Drove it for a while..thinking it felt like it was self destructing. Getting very sick of the supersmall engine bay it went on the lawn 6 months after I bought it.

Had a wad of cash in my pocket and CFoote (owner of a Grannymobile) says..check out the Bonnevilles. They have options and get good mileage. Picked up the paper a couple days later and saw a 95 SSEi. Checked the internet and hit a couple small dealers .. test drove the private party SSEi and handed over $2,800 cash.

Didn't mind working on it. Back in the GM family and back to reasonable space to work on a car. Cruising along..3-4 months later enjoying my supercharged granny car and locked the brakes..smoked them in reverse and pulled into the driveway of a house with my 97 SSEi in the yard priced at $3,900.

Less than a week and $3,300 later I owned 2 SSEi'* and a truck. Finally sold the 95 to some crazy New Yorker only to see him crash it less than a month later.
