Default Where can I get body parts (fender, hood, etc) for my 1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser?

I bought a 1988 Olds Custom Cruiser just over a month ago and already got in a fender bender. :(

Where or how can I find parts to fix my 88 Custom Cruiser, my poor baby? I've attached some photos below for reference.

Some of the parts I need include:
  • grill
  • engine hood
  • front left fender
  • lightbulb frame/encasing
  • and possibly other stuff. Can you suggest any parts based on the photos?

The body has some minor dents from the collision near the back as you can see. Do I need to replace those body parts too? Or can they be bent back into shape so the dents are completely invisible?

I suspect you will find the cost of materials and labor to repair that amount of damage will exceed the value of the car. You also have to consider the impact could have damaged suspension parts, and possibly bent forward frame members.

Your best bet is to contact a salvage yard. Most of them are on a network they can access to see if the parts are available elsewhere, if they don't have them.

Good luck.

You may also want to see what parts from other vehicles will transfer over. The Caprice of the same era comes to mind.

Sure, you may have a hard time finding a specific grille, but it might help you expand your search.

Hello Dennis,

I have just seen your post from November 2013 and wanted to ask if your front grill is still available?

If so it is from the 1987 to 1990 models with the grey rocket emblem?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Cheers.
