This one is easy: When you click on a topic from the list of returned results after doing a search, make it automatically open in a new browser window, because if it is not the thread you wanted, you can't click the back button and go back to the search results.

firefox will bring the search results back up.

I normally just open them in new tabs. I would find it annyoing if it automatically opened a new window everytime I clicked on a link.

I think this is more of a personal setting. At home it never goes back..at work it will usually go back.

Ability to search for threads started by a specific poster.

For Example.. Someone who shall rename nameless with over 6 thousand posts who sold me a car.. I'm trying to sort through his posts to learn the history of my car... it ain't easy.

OK, how about moving the "posts since your last visit" search button to the header with the "FAQ", "Search", etc. buttons, so that it would show no matter which board you are in. I tend to use it quite often (all the time) and it would save a lot of time and screen refresh waits.

Am I the only one? Or is there a better way?
