Although I know this isn't just a problem on this forum (but actually on the majority) but the search feature sucks. Both on the forum itself and in the tech info area.

EDIT: and a way to atleast get to the middle of the alphabet on the memeber list w/o going page by page. Either a search or the letters listed out so we can chose where we want to go.

Memberlist for sure. That would help. Or perhaps sorting it by those active in the last 30, 60, or 90 days?

I personally don't have a problem with the search feature. I'm not sure what the issues are with that? I can find any topic I want on the first try.

Sticky cleanup is something we need to work on. I dumped half a dozen last week.

I third that. I've seen that feature on other boards and its definately nice. That way you don't have to go to the main forum page to see if they are on. It just makes things a little easier. Other than that I really don't have any complaints.

We should update the registry, maybe have the ability to search by year(*), trim, color, or mods. Each member could list what they've done, and have a link to an image, photobuck, cardomain, etc.... That way if I was looking for a gold 96-99 sse, I would just input the info, and find some pictures, members to contact, stuff like that.

In search, if there'* a way to search for articles by author, as opposed to just finding any thread a given person has posted in, would be nice. Also, if there was any way for the interface to stay locked at a certain width. It gets out of whack whenever anybody posts a giant picture, which happens all the time. Maybe if there was a way to auto-scale pictures to the interface, the way Firefox browser can do.

At least so something like on Club GP where you click on their SN and they have a profile in their with mods, links, e-mail, and timeslips for the last 3 times at the track. This would also help making people'* sigs alot smaller and making post alot easier to read.

Neat idea, hopefully it can be done with phpBB. I know that vB or InvisionBoard can do it...
