If it hasn't been in a flood and you don't mind paying the money that will have to go into it, then go for it, only after the carfax report. I personally wouldn't want to deal with all the cracked bumpers/panels, and that roof...looks like someone took sandpaper to it. That'* just me though.

But if you can get it for $2500, that'* not a bad price (if not flooded)!

From the pictures I can tell its not been in a flood. My friend sells lots of flood cars so I know what they look like and what they do to lean them up. The easiest place to hide flood damage is the engine bay. Even after being under water for day thay can make that engine look like new and whoever is selling this car obviously is not trying to hide anything.

What you have is neglected daily driver. I would offer him $2000.00 for it. He says no you walk.

yea... offer $2000 and walk otherwise. If you are set on it, I would not go over $2400 for it. If you do decide to go for it, I can get you a rear bumper cover and possibly a front, wrong colors, but good condition for $100-$150 each and another $30 or so for the rocker molding.

Check for rust under that cracked molding. if there is, you'll have rust else where and it might not be pretty. Look up in the rear wheel wells and see if the undercoating is cracked. it'* not fun to fix rust there, as Corvettecrazy. Also, look under the car by the front and rear bumper supports for more rust. those are where I got some. If you test drive it and go out by yourself, pull the rear seat bottom (real easy, push forward with your knee on both sides and pull up.) Look for rust there in the corners. if there is some there, walk.

*UPDATE*

well, i brought the car into class and checked things out. there were no engine, tranny or abs codes. but there were 3 airbag codes and the airbag lite was on.
B1018 passenger deployment loop short to ground
B1051 deployment commanded
B1071 internal inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module failure. i think.

there was also water under the padding. the owner said that the windows were left open during some storms.

so me and pat thought that the water got to the airbag module and shorted it out.

also i noticed that the tranny would sometimes jerk into gear leaving from a stop. like it would slip then grab. it was only around mid to light take offs. wot take offs were fine . and also if i went WOT and then let off, the shifts were really harsh. WOT shifts were fine.

so i offered the guy 2K and he said that he was gonna let it sell for a couple weeks and if it was still there at the end of the month he would let me know.

Matt, I know how much you want boost bro, but this car will bite you in the ***. You don't want something with water damage bro. My 2 cents cause you're my friend and I don't want to see you parting this thing out in 2 weeks.
