Usually after a flood, people will get the interior detailed to cover up the water odor etc... Try to get a look underneath trim peices where a prfessional detailer would miss. I'm guessing that is why the interior looks so good....
its worth 2500. it will need at least $2000 in work to make it in "good" condition for KBB....but after a fresh paint job and new carpet it would be a pretty sharp looking car.
i dont see why we think it has flood damage...it is just dirty and was never garaged

Elmo..do a carfax.. I don't see the water immersion that these guys do.
Someone answer up as to why they believe flood car..please.. don't say because..He'* thinking seriously about it and needs hard facts/info.
My 97 was looked the same under the hood...horrible, dirty..disgusting and never cleaned. I hit it with cleaner, filled the overflow that was pathetically low like that one and it treated me well since.
Yes..I did the valve cover gaskets..they were shot. Then I PM'd the intake gaskets and have had a reliable car since. It'* an ugly ducking at the moment. (and good luck finding MT body panels in a yard)

The shot of that engine looks identical to a car that has been immersed in water for at least a couple days, then the water receded slowly. The film is identical all the way up to the maxifuse relay center.
I'm not saying it IS, but it LOOKS like a car that has been in a ditch for awhile.
