its a 96 SE, how fast will it let me go(i dont plan on going any where near that speed but id just like to know) the speedometer goes to 115 so i would assume it goes that fast at least.thanks

Your car is probably governed at 105 mph. Or somwhere around that point anyway

The car can go quite fast, but the governor will stop ya.

My 96 SE will run about 107 mph then the govenor kicks in. An this will mostly be about the top speed because I have did a lot of searching and know body makes a perfomance chip for the 96 models. This was a transsision year for ECM'* and transmission so there is not chips around.

Limiter is supposed to be 108, it is a little different in every car and varies between 106 & 110mph. On a SSEi it is 128.

185 km/h or 110 mph is the most here...SSEi as well...

Did you back off, or did you hit a limit? You should have been able to do 128.

I thought it was 108 in 3rd, and in 4th/OD it was 128... Right?
