Default Weird!?

**THIS IS NOT A STREET RACING STORY**

Yesterday I went to an art festival in an unknown town so I was kind of lost. I pull up to this light and realize I have to merge on the other side of the intersection. There is a line of cars in the lane next to me so I need to get in front of the lead car. This lead car is a 1989 Buick LeSabre, rusted to hell with the muffler hanging almost to the ground. The driver is a woman in her 40s probably, so I thought i'd swiftly move ahead and saftly merge. Right, WRONG. I took off maybe half pedal and there she is right beside me, I think WTF and go WOT, she is still there!! And its pretty scary listening to that mufflerless 1st gen go at it. By 30 mph I think she realized I HAD to merge and let me go. Did the 1st gens have 3.33 gering or something.

She probably had the "crap car performance".... Free flowing exhaust, cause its hanging off and rusted through...Higher compression, cause of 1/4" of carbon on the piston...Then add in the lighter body from rust holes and parts falling off and you've shaven some time off that 0-30
