Weird!?

**THIS IS NOT A STREET RACING STORY**

Yesterday I went to an art festival in an unknown town so I was kind of lost. I pull up to this light and realize I have to merge on the other side of the intersection. There is a line of cars in the lane next to me so I need to get in front of the lead car. This lead car is a 1989 Buick LeSabre, rusted to hell with the muffler hanging almost to the ground. The driver is a woman in her 40s probably, so I thought i'd swiftly move ahead and saftly merge. Right, WRONG. I took off maybe half pedal and there she is right beside me, I think WTF and go WOT, she is still there!! And its pretty scary listening to that mufflerless 1st gen go at it. By 30 mph I think she realized I HAD to merge and let me go. Did the 1st gens have 3.33 gering or something. :?

The old buick would have gave up a few pounds on you plus it has a 3.8, not sure on the gearing?

She probably had the "crap car performance".... Free flowing exhaust, cause its hanging off and rusted through...Higher compression, cause of 1/4" of carbon on the piston...Then add in the lighter body from rust holes and parts falling off and you've shaven some time off that 0-30 :D
