Thats a $5000 repair right there easy. Thats about what I was looking at when mine got T-Boned Because the body shop would have to find/buy a parts car to cut from.

Either way I would go after the insurance company, show them the recent receipts and make sure you let them know the car is worth more than most with that miles and year..

Sorry for your loss. Glad Dad'* OK & hope he'* not in much pain today. It'* very obvious from the pictures how much you enjoyed taking care of this beautiful car. Don't let the insurance company screw you - a 93 in this condition is very rare & worth way more than bluebook.

Sometimes fixing a broken car is just as rewarding as maintaining one .
Wise words.

Well first ill like to say im glad that your dad is ok

But man i hate to see another SSEi die :( :(

I think we should get them put on the endangered species list so if and when someone hits them and it there falt its a federal crime

WOW!!! This is CRAZY!!! Nate just told me this morning and this is the first chance I've had all day to get on here.
Sorry to see/hear this Matt. That car took one hell of a hit. Definitely totalled with both doors, rocker panel, roof, B-pillar, quarter panel and suspension damage.
Glad to hear your dad'* doing alright so far. I can definitely see whiplash becoming more evident as the evening moves in.
Tough cars. Hopefully you can salvage it and use the parts on another SSEi (you planning on that yet?).

Best of luck with this ordeal. We're here 100% for you.

Its been good, I had fun, I loved this car to death.
Born May 1993
Died June 2006
Bought at 157,400 kms on January 7th 2005
Torn out of my heart at 187,201 kms on June 2 2006
This car was too rare and to perfect, however now, even the transmission moutns have been shifted, the parking pawl doesnt seem to want to hold the car to well, possible shock load damage to the diff, im not to sure.
