Ah, that makes sense, or at least maybe they have a program that offers them first to dealers to sell as used cars. I wonder if Alamo buys or leases their rental cars?
When I had my back seat out this past summer for my rear deck Dynomat project, I found a couple seashells and some sand that had slipped beneath the seat. Then I vacuumed that stuff out of there!
I have to say, I've always been really happy with the car. I bought it with a 6 year/60,000 mile extended GM warranty that I made good use of (not sure if this is a good or bad thing?) and the only other major problem I had was upper and lower intakes last month at 86000 miles.
