This is the first stages in removing the oil pump, control valve, channel plate assembly, and the drive chain. Note, trans oil side pan was already removed.

Then I guess you will love pictures of the inards when I get em posted. The inside of this thing is soooo cool. I learned so much about automatics just by opening this one up. I never did understand how they worked until now. I think everyone should goto the junk yard and grab a cheap tranny and just open her up for ***** and giggles.

hehe, ***** amd giggles end when you realize you have a 200+ LB piece of metal that needs to be hauled off when ur done...
