So my intentions are to buy the 95 SSE and put a hitch on it for our 4x8 utility trailer. The 95 SSE has 130,000 miles. The 99 SE only has 80,000 miles. Anyone have any reasons to use one car vs the other for pulling 1500lbs on occassion? Remember the 99 is the wife'* car that needs to do about 15,000 miles a year the 95 will be mine that only goes about 5000 miles a year.

Also who the heck makes a hitch for the dual exhaust cars? I looked for a little bit last night but didn't find any thing for the 95 SSE with dual exhaust.

I will look into the cooler. Plus the lower gearing would be better as well. I printed off the RPO codes somewhere I will have to see what each vehicle has for gearing.

So are you saying that you can buy an aux cooler for the trans that will bolt up to the tranny like the oem lines? Or will I need to cut it into the stock lines?

I guess my big question is if there are any major transmission upgrades from the 95 to the 99 that may warrant using the 99.

So the Draw-tite and that one in the last post in your link seem like good hitch options for the SSE hitch.

I did some reading here and it seems like the 4t60e in the 95 may be better than the 99 4t65e when it comes to durability.

I'd agree with that. Stock vs. stock, the 60 is more durable, even though the ratings are lower. The 60 will benefit from an additional cooler, even if you already have one. $40 should get you a good cooler, install is easy in about 2 hours.
