You might be right Teuobk. I could have sworn the write up I saw said it was like a '95 though. I saved a link to it but the link is now bad. The link went to some non-GM site. I did find this one however which has partly identical information (word for word) with different engine specs. It says they usead an Eaton blower not a Kenne-Bell and has 455 hp not 600 hp. Looking at the picture it is a 2000 Bonneville but why would GM post 2 different specs? :?

Steve, can we not dig up old threads like this when there is a current thread running on the same subject? This gets very confusing, and splits the information into 2 current locations.
FYI, this is a VERY old thread.

Yes, you are (scold).
There.
Since this post was created when the system clock was in default due to a crash, several members have broken the 150mph mark. Well, maybe not several. 4 that I know of. One of the green cars in my sig has gone 156mph, but let it be known that it was under CONTROLLED circumstances on a deserted stretch of old abandoned desert highway in eastern oregon. I had to drive up and back at 30mph for about 10 miles to pick my 'line' in order to miss any bad sections. I know 2000SilverBullet has also gone over 150, and a couple others.
Keep in mind this was over two years ago. While I'm curious to see how fast the Zilla is now at the top end, I have no desire to rip yet another *******-sized chunk of leather from the bottom of my seat. Once was enough, it was expensive to repair (and my doctor had a good laugh as he removed cowhide from my
the next day).
Thread locked. Old post. REALLY old post.
