Time to Sell but for what price?
Hi all, after several years with my 97 SSEi, it is finally time to sell after buying an SUV. I am in Minnesota and for some reason there are no 1997 SSEi'* for sale anywhere to compare to. I am guessing 97 was a light sales year or something. So I figured I would ask you all your thoughts on the price tag. Here is the deal with the car. It has 98,000 miles, is silver and has every single option available except the 50th anniversary edition. Everything works as intended (except power antenna just died). I have babied the body to the nth degree. Never, ever parked next to another car more than a few times so the body is pristine, have climate controlled parking at work in a private spot away from everyone so never parked in sun/elements either. The interior looks not more than a couple years and old almost never had passengers..under the hood always detailed and waxed so is perfect as well. Basically this car is likely in the top 1% of 97 Bonnevilles left. The car came from California and has only seen 4 mn winters. My wife thinks I am crazy as to how I take care of this "old" car in her eyes. If we had the garage space I would keep this thing forever but that is not the case. The only issues are that the Supercharger could use a coupler replacement at some point and the CCR suspension died at about 40,000 miles so could use a conversion. Tires are about half tread, front rotors could use replacing just started slight pulsating. Anyone have any thoughts on price. I don't give any credance to the Blue Books
Thanks

The unfortunate thing is the the Blue Books are what you need to use to gauge a price for the car. Unfortunately the used car prices in these books do not include sentimental value or perceived inflated value because of the love and attention you provided to the car.

$1 dollar to me!! Just kidding, about 3500 on average I would say. Sadly people do not appreciate a taken care of used car. they see it as old, and that is it.
