I too was amazed at the internal cleanliness of that motor in the pics. Nice find and a great project.

And about MIke'* comment about "not letting him in on the fun!", all I can think of, Mike, is that, I believe the goal of the project is to have the car actually running

The Tuned Port L27 used the 3 wire sensor in 93... In 94 and 95( other Makes with the TPI L27) These had a 4 wire heated... 95 - 96 also used the same exact 4 wire sensor... So 94-95-96 regaurdless of L27, L36 or L67 used the 4 wire heated
But...I may convert to 3 wire...the PCM won't care about that at all...the other 2 wires are ground and switched power for the heating element...may be better for sensor life in this application, or maybe just craps and laughs...who knows. And the more I look at this project, the more I realize what the higherups say about doing this conversion...if you have an L27 and converting TO an L67, I would def. NOT recommend this...there is just too much parts hunting to do to make it work, so unless you have alot of time on your hands to devote to such an undertaking, I would give this a thumbs down. HOWEVER, if you ALREADY have an L67 that is on its last legs, this would be a viable option to keep your car on the road instead of going to the crusher.

Mike, all ya gots to do is make a trip! There is still plenty to do y'know...like getting more Sasquatch pics. (BTW...if Don is Sassy, who here on the forum is Nessie, Lucky the Leprachaun, and the chupacabra?)
