I may be mistaken but i think that the Super Coupe'* engine was the same as the Ford Taurus SHO. Ive also heard that the sho was faster.

We used to own an SHO. In my opinion i would say the thunderbird is much more powerfull. And i already know there was no supercharged V8, and no one on this topic said there was a supercharged V8 so i don't know where you are trying to come from with that.
But anyways, the SHO doesn't have the same engine as the super coupe. The super coupe has a bigger engine, which was designed by ford. The SHO has a Yamaha 3.0L V6, with a centrifugal supercharger, where the SC is powered by a 3.8L supercharged V6. I'm not sure on this, but i'm almost positive it is also a centrifugal supercharger.
They aren't Wrong Wheel Drive either, which i think would be nice in a bonneville..

SHO'* also had 32 valve V8'*. Either way ford hasent made a car in along time that impresses me. t-birds along with most fords are freakin ugly.
