I was browsing through old websites, and came across a video of 2 T-Birds dragging.
Check out the takeoff these things have. It looks real good.. There are also a few burn outs..

I used to have a Thunderbird before I totalled it. It was a Turbo Coupe, the model that Ford put out from 1983-1988, but used the 87 to 88'* as a "spacer" because they weren't finished with the Super Coupe yet. It had a 2.3 liter Inline 4, with a IHI turbo. Stock boost was 10psi, I had a Gillis Valve on mine and it cranked up to 15. The stock numbers for Turbo Coupes are 190hp@4600rpm(Give or take a few hundred RPM), and 240ft/lbs@3800rpm I believe. Pretty quick car, the only downside is that it weighed 3420lbs. The newer generation T-Birds(1989-1997) were 3550lbs though.
