think i'm ready to admit it...
For anyone that'* locking their keys and remote in their car.. shame on you.
Get out.. press button on remote. My door lock button and door key are the most under used items on the car.

No keyless entry here...
When i was a teen, I had a bad habit of turning the car off and listening to the radio finish a song before I got out of the car. That caused me to lock my keys in my car many times. I kept a coat hanger wire wrapped under the front bumper and could get back in my car in under 30 seconds.
Before that I once had to ask a nearby officer to help. He didn't have a jimmy kit, just a coat hanger. Once he opened it up, he immediately asked me for my license, registration, and insurance. Good thing it was all current and accurate or I have a feeling I would have been takig a free ride to the local incarceration facility....whew!

I accidentaly locked the keys in Sandrocks SSEi... Not a pretty sight... But I had a brainstorm as the hood was ajar.... I yanked the fender, removed the door hinger to body bolts... And got my hand in there with a long screwdriver with a Bent end tool doo hickey thingy, and unlocked the door... Cleaned the fender got rid of the debris that was there and reinstalled...
Once we got power to the car me and Pat went out and programmed a remote... Good thing we did that too... Because I'll be a SOB I locked the keys in the car again... I had the remote on the puter desk...LMAO
But I have yet to lock them in my own car.... Go figure

Well, I don't have to worry anymore. I have a spare key now. I can get in my truck easy as pie. If nothing else, I can reach my hand in the broken vent window and just pull the lock up, or pull the keys out.
