The Bonneville really is an inpenetrable tank. I locked my keys in my car Friday. We tried everything, picking door locks, picking the trunk lock, slim-jiming it, going down through the door and hitting the switch, even tried pulling off one of the vent windows, until we settled on the easiest yet most expensive solution, had a key cut. $35 later, i have a spare key.

My favorite part, we were trying to get into it, and one of the football players walked by. "Lock your keys in your car?". "Nope, trying to lock em in from the outside. Heeere'* your sign."

I locked my keys in months ago. It took me a long time to get in/find a long enough object to get in the door, but I was able to pry the front door open enough to stick a long metal ruler-like object to hit the door lock button.

Several weeks later I locked them in again Took me < 5 minutes to get in that time.

I just don't know what to say about people who lock their keys in their cars

Locked the keys in mine and only had a spare trunk key. Quite an adventure that was...

Could have had you in there in 2 minutes :P Those thick metal coat hangers make great slim jims. Have a couple of real slim jims kicking around some where too.

A guy I worked with spent a half hour trying to get into his car by prying the door open enough to stick something in to hit the un lock button. I pull up, pull a coat hanger out of my trunk (kept one in there 'cause it was handy for helping out a couple of cute waitresses from the 99 reasturant next door that would occasionally lock themselves out of their cars ) and had his car unlocked in less then 10 seconds.

I tired the slim jim method with some objects but couldn't figure out what I was doing. I actually ended up knocking the rod off the door handle

Ace...if you had a spare trunk key...wouldn't that unlock the doors too? :?
