Monsoon sounds way better than Bose. Both systems of that age suck compared to aftermarket though. Amping paper cones just makes louder things and faster blown speakers.

a little expensive to replace all the speakers in an ssei. sounds fine to me.

For new speakers all around and an amp to run them I spent $425 plus install.

Guess there are a lot of potential configurations for radios from 00 to 05.

Lets change the question- are the factory radios seamlessly interchangeable between 00-05 (harnesses the same)?
