Looking at purchasing a back up radio on Ebay. I noticed they list 00-02 and then 03-05 radios as different. Can anyone confirm this and if so- can a 03-05 radio work in a 00-02 car without any harness changes?

I believe that 00-02 radios are Bose, and 03-05 radios are Monsoon.

If you have that system. Mine doesn't have either.

the 04-05 radios also have black ***** and buttons instead of grey

Your car was probably made the second half of 02' and recieved the newer audio.

Don't worry, I believe you. My 02 is the same way. I bet yours has rear door speakers too.

Eff Crutchfield man. They don't know what the Hell they are talking about most of the time. When I was talking to them ON THE PHONE they said Monsoon and rear door speakers didn't happen in Bonne'* until 03. I said ok fine, then how come when I pick I have an 03 with Monsoon I STILL don't get the option for rear door speakers? Retards.

Indeed i do have rear door speakers lol. Im having trouble deciding which sounds better bose or monsoon. What do you guys think?
