Bump steer is more a cause of suspension geometry then struts, However if your struts have turned to swiss cheese, then that could effect it. My bump steer is really bad in the rear. It'* not dangerous by any means, just kinda annoying.

My car had the GM endlink "upgrade" kit on it, so it'* not original bushings like your car Martin. There weren't "that" bad either. Not perfect, but not from the factory in 93.
