Why not call the police in that area and ask if they;re looking for a stolen white 05 Bonne? If they are - keep away. If you buy stolen parts and the police trace them back to you they'll confiscate the parts and you won't ever see your cash again.

Someone felt brave enough to drive their Bonneville down there (Harper and I94 area)

Looks like a rough area. Trust your instincts, it is smells fishy, it probably is. Not worth it.

Total luck, I know downtown Detroit has its "neighborhoods" so I looked for Harper and I94 and just happened to Street View and there was a Bonneville. I've spent the better part of 25 mins walking thru Detroit with Street view....wow, just...wow. Sad.

Yup, Detroit isn't exactly the nicest place around. I have been there enough to know that. My mom was born in Detroit, and raised there until she was 9 years old, the her and my grandparents moved to Hamtramck until she was 16, then her and my grandma moved here to Ohio, and met my Dad. They had a very rough life there, but my Mom was and is a fighter, and kicked anybody'* *** that messed with her.

ANYTIME and I mean anytime someone doesn't accept check and only wants cash or money order, its a bad deal. It means they want a sure means of getting the money without you finding out of the fraud and hence getting your money back in time. Craglist, Ebay, or in person.

No, not necessarily. Cash is 1000% easier to work with. There'* too much fraud with checks and money orders. Very, very little fraud with cash. Just because someone only accepts cash doesn't mean it'* a bad deal. 99% of the stuff I sell on craigslist I ONLY accept cash. I'm not a crooked seller. :?

i also agree with ya vital. cash is just easier. much less worries about fake cash, than check or m.o.
