Stolen Bonneville?
 

So I usally search craigslist every once in a while to check for bonnevilles and such and I come across this...

"Are you still parting out this car? Where are you located?
Looking for headlights, taillights, rims, and interior parts.
Let me know, Thanks."

He responds with...
"no front end but everthing else packet deal 400cash no check"

I say
"okay whats your location? Any more pics?"

He responds with...
"harper n i94 area i can get sum pic do u have a cam phone"


So if I go check this car out what do you think I'll find?
I wonder if he talks like he types... :roll:

Really bad area of the D, more then likely stolen and hidden in a garage. Do me a favor and dont go by yourself. If need be, I'll go with you

Ya thats what I figured, I Should just call the police, let them go check it out.

Dont waste your time. It wouldn't be too high on their to do list.

I saw the car a couple days ago on craigslist and thought the same thing.

There are worse areas of Detroit, but I still wouldn't go alone. :lol:

There's no other reason to be parting out that new of a car. :? Probably selling it to buy some weed or something.

I can't speak specifically for Detroit, but stolen vehicles, and in particular chop shops are a high priority with most departments. They often even have metro teams involved so jurisdiction issues don't come up. I'd report it...let them decide.

(but don't report it until you get the parts you need) :lol:

yes the car is stolen. However it does not matter. It is detroit. The cops have better things to do.
