My '01 Dark Maple SSEI was stolen out of my garage in N/E Indiana. It has the brake calipers painted red. No front licence plate. The factory front licence plate insert is missing as well. It has a factory sun roof.

The perp burglarized my shop and my sons jeep then missed the driveway as he was leaving and got his truck stuck in the ditch. He evidently broke into my garage and used my '01 for a get-away . It has on-star but I havent activated it because I only drive the car occaisionally until the '94 SLE dies (190,000 miles) GM says they cant help since I had not subscribed before the theft.

I'll keep my eyes open...

If you're lucky, they'll find it ditched somewhere, since it doesn't sound like this person was planning on stealing it. On the other hand, since they vandalized your son'* jeep, they may make a mess of yours too. I hope not. It'* a damn shame to see a good car stolen/ruined, especially a car from a BC member!
