2009 Tahoe/5.3/4wd Flex Fuel/LTZ

So this part has been discontinued - 158886733 - and I have been unsuccessful finding one to purchase anywhere. But I have read some posts about an alternate part that can be used - 25833069. Does anyone have experience with this?

From what I can find out either will work, the 158886733 is the part that superseded 25833069, as to why it was I cannot find out, but the two are the same..
They both look the same for sure, I cannot find the old part in stock at the moment either, but at least you know you have 2 options, 3 if you try a local scrapyard.

Part 15886733 Has Been Superseded

• 25833069 was replaced with 15886733 on February 28, 2009 for Canada market;
• 25833069 is interchangeable with 15886733 since February 1, 2009 for the U.*. market;
• 15112675 was replaced with 25833069 on September 1, 2007 for the U.*. market.

So the NTK 25833069 will work, and according to another forum member Kenan92 you may also need to replace the wiring harness for it if the codes and message on the dash do not go away.

I am stills seeing some sites saying 25833069 was discontinued, I found a Standard brand one that says it is interchangeable.

I tried to find that part, RockAuto does not even list it, and everywhere else says discontinued...
