How did you diagnose the steering angle sensor as being the problem?

Default 6 pin steering position sensor

Yes! I had a guy pull one off a 2010 Z71 Tahoe and it will be on mine tomorrow, I also purchased another item on Ebay and am waiting for it to come in. If everything is cool with the one I just put on I’d happily sell the extra.

Default Sorrows continue

Well after finally finding that 6 pin steering position sensor pictured above, had it installed and orange triangle of death came back on within 20 minutes of driving, took it to another shop and they tightened wheel hubs and tried to recalibrate the sensor, that fixed the issue for about 3-4 days however during the service, my odometer and gear selector went dark on gauge cluster. Shop now has Tahoe again and I’m sure the issue will linger and cost lots of monies. Im so over GM and their bs
