One of the things I hear frequently is how great to have a place to have meets and how I keep hosting. Honestly..it'* the fun that keeps things going.

One funny moment this last meet, I'm on the phone w/Matt (not sure even how we got him on the phone) I'm sitting in a green bonne seat that'* in my basement (the quietest place) and the roar from the garage keeps growing. Pat and Brian come running over ready to pee themselves from laughing so hard and show me a picture. Randy doing the "Hurricane" Matt...I gotta go...before they hurt themselves...lol

Pat'* vid of Randy and the butter story really didn't do it justice. I coudln't have cared less about the stupid butter...(it woulda died of freezer burn before I got to it) and he sat down and told a 45 minute campfire story about it...lol...

It'* the people... Met people from all over the world on this site....always a good group (once mgmt weeds out the shorttimers).

What Don said above about all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes is more true than most members will ever understand. It'* a constant neverending job. Some of you have had an inside look into it. BigNews1 (Ben) recently got an inside look while 'interviewing' me for a college paper. I'm hoping he'll post it soon. It really gives a good snapshot (without the gory details) into what makes this forum operate succesfully on a daily basis.

Jeff Keacher had a vision. He had the balls to pursue the idea. He set out some guidelines as the the Staff grew, and we've made every effort in the world to keep things the way he intended. The WAY is for the Members. Each Admin, Moderator, Gearhead, Treasurer, and member contributes to this. Many of our Veterans are just as important to the daily operation as anyone else that has odd star colors.

Kudos to all. Particularly Don for turning the attention this direction.

i know i dont really fit in in this thread. i havent done anything to contribute to this club, and i havent gone to any of the meets or met any of you.

but this club is great. you guys are all great, and i have no basis for that aside from my small interaction with you and how you interact with each other.

you guys are great.

im going to keep my eyes peeled for any way i can contribute. maybe even make a meet in three years or so. if theres anything i can do to help, let me know.

Every member who posts contributes in some way. If it'* a question asked, it is likely one that someone else has also. That opens a discussion about it that is helpful to a lot of people. Relating similar experiences, even if it doesn't fit the current problem can be used by someone else for their problem.
