Yes this club is great, I haven't found another forum like it. Most of the other places are just a bunch of testosterone fuel macho posturing. This place is great, try posting a pick of your wife or girlfriend on anyother site and you'll get 20 responses from poeple saying how good she is in the sack.

This place reminds me of the commeraderie you'd find with a bunch of "Tread lightly" Jeep drivers.

In one of my recent college classes, I had to do a personality assesment of myself & my friends. The paper ended up being about BC, in that I realized that the bonds of friendship formed here on BC are due to everyone'* "giving nature" as described by these postings.

I joined this forum to gain education about my Bonnie....I've stayed here because I've gained friends...friendships from other women who'* personal struggles are similar to my own...friendships from a group of 20somethings that now call me "mom".... and friendships with so much compatibility and trust that I don't think twice about inviting a bunch to my home or traveling across the country with... this is truly a special place to be...

PS...Fuel - Nooooo! ....no dancing video or I'll scribble illegibly the next time we "talk".

This is definitely a great place! I don't post a whole lot, but I do read a whole lot... been to other forums on the 'net, and I never find myself staying there for longer than about 10 minutes due to issues that someone else has already alluded to above... and if I do, I wish that I hadn't

To get a little more specific here, John and Shadd teamed up and purchased a new harmonic balancer for the Zilla while they were here (sneaky stuff behind my back). This was an amazingly kind gesture considering the fact that both of them are on a car budget just like myself, and both had other things on their own cars that they could have used that cash for.

I don't really feel I'm deserving of that act of kindness. I just like hanging out with those guys, and my kids do as well! Just having them down for the weekend is worth it. I didn't really know how to react when they told me what they'd done.

Big thanks to both of you WA bozos. BIG thanks! Your kindness and thoughtfulness will be repaid.

I started off just lurking this forum when I was trying to decide whether to buy a used Cadi or to go with the Bonneville. It was probably about 9 months before I officially joined. I started off checking maybe once a week, then every couple of days, and then at least once a day. I posted answers when I thought I could help, asked questions when I needed the help, and tried to come up with some solutions for common problems. Then, I got a PM from Willwren, and my first thought was OMG, I don't recall doing anything wrong! I was surprised and honored to be asked to be a gearhead...suggested by at least one other one. (My daughter'* words of "Dad, in 500 words or less.... are screaming at me here) So, this is a great group of people, where you can even disagree with each other and still have intellligent conversations. I am proud and honored to be part of it all.

Bill, both Shadd and myself WANTED to do that, as a GIFT. You helped the both of us out tremendously*(sp?). Between all of us we managed to do a lot and learn a lot. That */C is worth more $ than what I have in the bank, and I am very greatful for you generosity and hospitality! Repayment is not necessary and would be uncalled for, and you know that.

It was a great short weekend and I thank you for all your help.
