I have the torque stars, just couldn't remember the proper name for them. Has there ever been an SLE with HUD stock?

I forgot the original name too. i think it was just called 5-spoke cast aluminum star rims. My rims that you see on my sig pic are called the torque stars

gotcha. so all of the rims have fancy names except for the "cast aluminum 5 spoke star rims." What'* up with that? You'd think one of us could come up with a name.

I am looking inside a 1998 Bonneville Brochure book that you get at the dealer and it says that the

SLE Special Edition Package (H4U): Includes SSE bodyside cladding,
dual exhaust, SSE front and rear rascias with fog lamps and grille
(available with 1SC or 1SD option groups only)

So even though the '98 SLE gets its own badging, its still a package and not its own trim level yet? If so, then they must have started its own in 2000.

Took a look at my brother'* 92 SE and my fiance'* 93 SE this weekend.
Brother'*:
1992 SE
Leather
Twilight Sentinel
Leather, with driver'* power seat, rear pass-through with storage in armrest
16" 5 spoke alloys
Center consol/ shifter
Swears he'* had it to 115
Overhead storage bin
Spoiler
Rocker panel extensions
I have a feeling his may have qualified as an SLE if it were a 93

Fiance'*:
93 SE
Cloth
Bench, power driver'* seat
Rear pass-through w/o storage in armrest
No twilight sentinel
15" steel wheels
No rocker extensions
Spoiler
92 SE style grille
In fact, the only option I see on the car is the spoiler.
