Your car DOES NOT have to have silver crosslase rims to have the SLE package

GM Pontiac started using the chrome trim around the windows again


1997


1998
Now this is when they started badging the car and using the SSE/i shell
Also using the CHROME trim around the windows .


SLE'* never had the badge on the trunk like the SSE and SSEi'* have
THanx smellbird


They dont have the compass or electronic Driver Info Center and NO tinted heated miirors.


1999 No major changes.



2000 redesign for ALL Bonnevilles. SSE is dropped. Only 3 trim levels. SE, SLE and SSEi.
The SLE share the same interior and exterior as the SSEi. No supercharger





2001 No changes






2002-2003 the SLE chagned the badging to SLE and the exhaust to the 96-99 type. The Bonnevilles also get new type of rims.

my 94 doesn't have the chrome trim......and i'm glad..........i think it looks cheesy

Again chrome trim isn't part of it, and 96+ they all have it. You could get it in 94 and 95 still, just the two examples changed.

The only major difference between 93-95 was the N10 muffler in 93, and possibly electronic ride control.

When did they stop using the crosslace rims? My '96 has the star kind (what are they called? )

2000 when they redesigned the Bonneville. No more crosslaces. 96-99 though used a variety for the SLE. Either crosslaces, torque star chrome or the pick below which was somewhat popular for the SLE.

Are these the rims you have?

I'm glad mine has the gold crosslace rims....I think it sets off the car along with the tint

just took a lot at the bonneville we're selling. 96 and it has the H4U rpo. chrome trim around windows, dual power seats, and still no sunroof.
