Im a bit hesitant to put in a combustable and thinner fluid than what oil normally is into my crankcase even though it says you can do so on the bottle. I am wondering if anyone else has put Seafoam into their engine and if so what the results were like.

well i have been told its safe to run it through the combustion chambers, the fuel system and the oil...i really have not heard anything bad...

I've done it before....get'* a lot of **** out if you have some nasty build ups going in the oil system.....

Just make sure you get a good filter....and I usually only leave it in for about 500-1000 miles.

Put about 1/3 of the bottle in around 500 mi before the nexst oil change. Pour the rest in the gas tank or for a more thorough intake cleaning; disconnect the booter vac line and let the remaining get sucked into the intake until the engine stalls, let it sit about 10-minutes and then start her up. * Warning - its going to smoke like * I've done this about 3 times as I suspected I had some stuck piston rings (had a mysterious disappearing oil problem and suspect it was being burnt) and now my oil level stays steady.
I've been using seafoam on my Ford once a year for a number of year. It came highly recommended and I recommend it too.

smoke will depend how dirty your engine is. Mine really didn't smoke that much. (barely at all) but then again I clean her out pretty often (WOT)

I know how to use it, ive done intake and gas before but never oil. It never really sat well with me well that id be pouring in a fluid whose properties differ from oil and might end up screwing up my engine, so I wanted to check here if other people have done it to make sure there are no ill effects.
