Just remember that PIAA'* are even more expensive than Sylvania'* and are also considered "performance lighting", which might go bad early as well. Make sure to look at the how many watts the bulb is, the higher the wattage the hotter it gets.

I've stated it before, so I'll mention it in this topic as well. I have Cool Blue Highs and Silver Star lows, and 100W H3'* in my fogs.

Cool Blue highs are over 2 years old, oriiginal bulbs.
SilverStar lows are a year and a half or more. Original bulbs.
100 W H3'* are 8 months old.

No problems whatsoever.

Bill, recently you were driving the Honda. Do you normally drive the Bonnie as your daily driver? I'm assuming you are only driving the Honda while working on the Bonnie.

Yup. Bonneville is normally my everyday driver. Bought the Honda when the trans went south.

Pics would be great. I just want to see what the thingy looks like that you unplugged... I'm guessing it'll be the same in my Aurora.

I'm about to go with some eBay super-whites from my front lighting upgrade. A couple guys at Aurora Club have used HiLites and had good luck... plus they are only $40 for the whole set (lows, highs, and fogs).

here are some pics i would have taken the pcm cover off but it raining here

it the big white rectangleular shaped resistor.
i just took the pmc cover off and removed 2 screws that mount the stock air intake so u have some play to move it around, their is a thumb clip that connects it to the resistor and just use ur thumb the take it off and ur done. i tucked the wire in a safe stop so it doesnt get caught on anything.
