Response from Sylvania Re: Silverstars Lifespan - Page 2 - GM Forum - Buick, Cadillac, Chev, Olds, GMC & Pontiac chat

General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

I think Drifter has an article under techinfo on this
Here it is: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/?article=18

This same technique is supposed to work on my Aurora too (and probably all other similar-era GM sedans), although I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Not a problem; I just-so-happened to need to find that information again (for my own use), and your reference to TechInfo gave me a good reason to look it up.

you know what the problem is???

all you that are having problem are the ones that are pulling the package from the front of the rack, while everyone with working ones are the ppl that pull off all the packages off the hook, and go to the one in the back, that hasnt been dropped, and played with so much...

DUH!

When I had my aurora, I went threw a streak of 5 fog lamps in about 8 months, bulbs were by Osama, don't think it was the bulbs though, drivers side was 4 out of the five. Some kind of Elec. surge, started blowing fuses too, shorly after ditched the olds for the ssei.

I always take from the back of the row/rack no matter what I'm buying
