Default re painted the front piece under the bumper

I went to Canadian tire today, bought a can of exact match spray paint, a can of non metal clear primer, and a can of clear coat, sanded the whole hanging part under the bumper and re did it...looks great now, it even rained today and it still looks excellent. Tomorrow im gunna do the surface rust on the rear quarters, what kind of primer should i use for that....my cars color is Light Bieche

White primer or gray doesn't really matter. White would probably be better but once you get the paint on their you won't be able to tell much of a difference

Gray primer will work, just make sure it'* the same brand as the paint, and of course is "sandable." You'll have to get some fine sandpaper and rubbing compound. How big are the rust areas on the back panels?

Oh and make sure you sand all the rust off and use a rust killer or eventually you will get rust seaping through. I seen some stuff at walmart that claims to convert rust into primer. I bet if the instructions are followed properly it would work well.

Kuhl, I know what you're talking about. I used that stuff that "kills rust" and turns into a black primer. It may work...not sure, but it didn't work for me, but I have a big rust problem. Naval Jelly works good at getting rid of rust.

Get the naval jelly. If your rust isn't horrible, this will cut down the time it takes to sand the rust off.
