Default RANT!!!!!

Alright....Here we go after a lot of online research I've come up with this Now I have read of people doing this but anyone know WHY???LOL
First off think it'* got a comp.cam I have no clue on the crank or heads right now.
Now from what I've pulled on my block code it'* a V0917CFR Now from what I've found it'* a 305 from the CFR in code????A TH350 I think by the pan??I've got picks up or will shortly AC/Delco HEI Dist. Hooker headers to flowmaster pipes And last but not least my Carter AFB Comp. carb.625 CFM not sure why everyone wants to get it off me for trade for Q-jet I Know all the classic it'* easier for tuning and Etc... Call me old school but the carter just talks more to me.
Now after you look at the photo just remember I've got video I hope to have up on YouTube that shows she'* got bark and bite unreal ...I can't wait to pull the engine to rebuild so I can find out the Specs on the cam and crank and the heads as you can see in my photos I need new valve covers and gaskets....LMAO!! So any tuning tricks for the carter are more then appreciated since I can't get the rear to break or the kickdown right or vaccume or...or....or....LMAO so i'm gonna try a rebuild any help on the linkage repair kit'*???I'll try to get up more clear pics now that I know pretty much how it all works but needs refinement so I know nothing other it'* all I could find so your guys ideas and suggestions and resons for why are more then taken into regard i'll post more later thank you Oh!! and i'm constany running from 5000ft. up to 8700ft without no issues at all till now but i'll exsplain in more detail and go from there n the next response
WELL IN MY TRAVELS I HAVE FOUND THIS THREAD>.....HAS ME ROLLING WITH DELIGHT SO FIRST I'D LIKE TO THANK ALL THAT HAVE HELPED PLEASE exclude yourself from the next part I CAN NOT HELP I DON'T KNOW THESE THINGS BUT I AM DETERMINED TO FIND OUT ........This is how I feel... anyone that is not open to all engines and builds should not be on here.....
It has been pulling teeth to get help so I have to agree with this guys statement I feel people don't remember how to tinker just for **ITS AND GIGGLES and that we can!!! just to see what will happen or just to learn JUST CUSE YOU BUILT A POS THAT CAN"T PULL IT DOES NOT MEAN I CANNOT but I feel people are to stuck on themselves and how they feel ,,,,I'm not sure if it'* cause their wise years of godly wrenching!!!!and are you worthy of the secrets>>>LMAO not sure what happened to helping one another with knowledge and experience wisdom...well I guess a lot feel it'* a sacred knowledge so I guess in the age of tech....your secrets can die with you cause someone.... some where...... will give the knowledge and you can stay in your delusional world that you are the only one that could figure it out or that your the only one with the knowledge... Thank you again to all that have helped & responded... OK So here it is...>>>>

Ok you ignoranuses that knock the 305 are really starting to annoy me. So to put you down into your place, and nail you there. Here are some interesting facts that YOU ALL seem to forget.
"""Money INVESTED vs. money RETURNED""". Fact 305/350 SHARE the SAME crank, heads, rods, bearings, lifters, pushrods, rockers, valves, valve springs, retainers, heads, exhaust (headers or manifolds), accessories, motor mounts, and they can even share the same cams.
Only difference is the piston, flexplates/flywheel and engine block (Yes their are slight difference in the design).
So it he puts $4k into a 305, wheres the problem? At the most he will blow it up, break a rod, maybe a crank?
I figure that even if he did, he can STILL salvage at the least 75% of his investment.
if he breaks a rod or a crank, wippity effin do dah. He can still replace that part, and bolt every g*dd*mn part into and onto a 350, if he so chooses, and amazingly he aint out ***t, now is he?????????
Just because you dont, cant, or wont do it, doesn't mean it can't or he shouldn't do it. Now give him the answers he asks for, and not you nearsighted opinion of why you wouldn't and he shouldn't do...Or just clam it.
For the record I have in fact built a 350 rwhp 2.5L (3.0l) tech4 iron duke with an 8k redline using only 55% of the fuel of a 350sbc...Why? "Because I effin can!!" and I was told its not feasible and I shouldn't do it.

Not sure how to respond, as I have no idea what I just read.

It was supposed to be a rant, but I seen what looked like a few questions about tuning.
Respond back when you can do so in a more understandable manner, as this gave me a mild headache to read.

I agree with everything the OP stated. He makes perfect sense and my day is better because I read it.
