ive seen the escort but i watched a video on youtube that had not picked up a signal. He blocked out a false sensor and had his friend then turn on the radar and it thought it was a false signal. That could be bad though....

My Whistler Pro 58 has been awesome. I've gotten a cop about a mile and a half infront of me on the curvy PA turnpike. I was pretty shocked. It'* saved my *** a few times on the TP...

As for the local highways, for the past year I've had it, I've not seen any cops actually gunning that weren't obvious. Now that my car is in the shop along with the hardwired detector, I've seen three cops hiding ontop of bridges above the interstate. Like the random bubbles poking out over the bridge wall isn't obvious... lol. Obviously some people don't notice, because the bridge I get off at for my job has somebody pulled over 50% of the time I'm out that way.

I got mine off ebay, and it saved me from MANY tickets, however, there were a few haro'* that slipped through. The speaker in it finally quit working so I threw it away. I have learned to slow down my driving habbits without a radar and I have been ticket free for quite a while!

yes well ive done that to, but i would like one just in case. I would like it for it to warn me even in false alarms to make me a better driver, like putting on turn signals...ect.. it should also let me get into less accidents but i have have accident free thankfully.

I have a Valentine1. Best I've ever had. And it'* upgradeable. If it can't be physically upgraded, the company will buy it back and send you a new one in the upgrade process. So look on ebay and find an older one. Get the seller to send the serial #. Serial must be unaltered to upgrade. Then you can enter the serial# on the Valentine website and see the cost to make it the same as a new unit. In my case, the unit needed replaced to upgrade, so I bought the ebay unit, sent it to Valentine and a check, and got the brand new unit returned...at half the cost of new.
