do i cut along the red or green line? or another one entirely? the techinfo says to cut along the groove, well, im noticing more than one indentation which could be classified as a groove.

if you really look at it you can usually tell where you need to be cutting... imagine where the edge of that amber piece could be.. it is goign to line up with one of those grooves, use your best judgement, take 5 minutes to think it out and plunge in... thats how i had to do it

i used the pictures here as reference

ty for the site, very helpful.

my thought was this: if i can get the front peice and the back peice to come apart, piece of cake. and when i read "cut the groove thats already there", i fit that with my expectation that i would be cutting it down the seam [like the headlights]. damn me. wonder if that silicon glue will work wonders. i hope.

f- it. time to buy a new piece, put my car back together, and forget about all of this. working on it since about 7:30 pm last night, its now 2:05p the following day, and ive succeeded in ruining my center piece and not getting a single yellow piece out of my tail. im so pissed right now. ive come to the conclusion that the dremel tool i got sucks and i wasnt meant to do mods beyond my front corners.

i have to charge the battery for half an hour just to get about 4 minutes of cutting time. charged it while i was asleep [ 10 hours ] and got about 15 minutes out of it. its going to take a long time at this rate to get it apart, and its got the black crap in the orange section now, so i cant put it back on my car like it is. at this rate, i might get one side done by the end of this weekend.
