exactly what part of the seat are you talking about. the side supports or the back. if its the side or lumbar, then it might have to do with your compressor

I think I have the same problem, it'* the recliner, when I recline the driver seat the right side of the seat back dosen't lock when you release the recliner handle so the seat back moves on the right side. The only time when the driver seat back is stable and lock when the driver seat is in the up right position. The seat back is pretty secure, I will most likely remove the seat today and see if there is a adjustment I can do.I have bucket seats.

I'm back, I had remove the driver'* seat and inspected the recline mechanism and cable. It works something similar to disk brakes, there is a clamp made of spring steel I guess and there are springs coiled around a steel rod that attaches to the seat back.
When you pull up the recline lever a cable pulls back the clamp and releases the steel rod. Whe the recline lever is release a large spring on the left side drivers seat pushes the seat back forward and cause the lever to come to a true seated position. The problem with mine and maybe with your seat also. The recline lever is not seated. after I remove my seat and inspected the recline mech..and couldn't fine anything wrong. I re-installed the seat and happened to find the problem by accident.

So I hope this helps.

Pictures are on page 3 on my webpage.

You mean the little air inflated peice on the side? If it'* just one side it'* going to be hell to fix.

If ya mean the actual back of the seat, does it go easy like or can you feel the gears jumping?

We don't have ratchets on the side. Full power, no levers or handles at all.

DJ, if you don't get it fixed before you go, we can take a look at it here. I have minor problems with the recline functions on both of my seats (intermittently). Might be a good opportunity to dig into both cars.
