Default Getting ready to buy a Bonnie. problem with the drivers seat

Getting ready to buy a 1994 Bonnie LE. The power adjustable drivers seat bumps slightly. Everytime I hit a bump in the road or go around a corner I hear a slight bump. The seat doesn't appear to be loose to the floor, but I can feel the seat move when I hear the sound. Is this a common problem. What is the fix? Everything else seems to work fine other than a passenger door lock actuator that locks but doesn't unlock automatically, and the rear speakers aren't getting any sound from the stereo. Does $3000 sound like a fair deal for this Bonnie with 107,000?

Yup, mine does that, too.

Probably the seat mounting on the motor-drive frame, something down there. To be honest, mine hasn't bothered me enough to get down there for a look; YMMV, of course.

...or they're blown...

I wouldn't say it'* a staggeringly good deal, but if it'* a nice car otherwise, you could do worse. (Maybe see what similar cars are selling for in your area; you might be able to bargain that down a bit.)

Default sorry, I had a brainfart. it is an SE.

By the way, the door lock actuator is $62.67$ from the dealer.

CaptianB--
Before you have the dealer replace the door lock actuator if you purchase the car, it sounds to me like the bumper on the actuator has torn, a couple of bucks to fix, not the whole acutator. I believe the fix details can be found here in the techinfo section.

Good luck......
