I agree. What I intended to convey is that maintaining even torque on all lugs will reduce the likelihood of having issues with the studs.

I first got the idea of running 5x114.3 when I saw a number of Grand Prix'* online running Mustang wheels. I loved the look and was curious. I drew the conclusion on my own that the 0.7mm difference in the bolt pattern was very small, perhaps so small that it would not make a difference. I did a lot of searching trying to find specific instances where someone had trouble due to the difference in bolt pattern, but I could find nothing. This is not to say it is not possible to have a catasrophic failure, but I was unable to find such an occurance. I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. I love my Mustang bullitt wheels and have had no issues to date.
