If you lined up against me, that would be a whole different story, you would be pushing your car very very hard, and then you would lose anyways.

And since I don't want to get the moderators into deleting mode again, I will try this a little differently. May I ask you if you have any proof or reasoning for the performance numbers you have posted in your signature?

I have 182,000 on my car, 2 12" subs in my trunk, my mods are on the bottom of all my posts, and to be completely honest with u I don't push my car hard at all to beat anybody I race. I don't race until someone gives me the signal to race, other then that I never push my car, and if I am pushing my car in a race which is highly unlikely, but just in the case that I do, I always back down so I don't push my engine or my tranny which is still stock. I am planning on getting a performance chip soon, along with a turbo and of course a MUCH better tranny to deal with that turbo, and I want the turbo intercooled of course. My car has a ton of life left in it, so much that I don't know how much it has. The 3800 motor is one of the best motors out there I think, whether it is n/a or superchatrged, or in my case soon, turbocharged. I treat my car alot better then alot of people with brand new cars and my car is almost 14 years old. I clean it everyday, keep it well maintained, and get parts for it when I need them, and then I add goodies when I want to. It all depends on the person, and with me I have a nice car because I treat it well. People can rat on me all they want and say to me, your car is gonna die soon, you shouldn't be racing a bonnie of that age, well I do and I beat alot of cars and **** off alot of people, and it feels good.

The fact is I didn't really appreciate that comment. I take that offensive, your downgrading my car just because yours is a turbo. Yeah mine isn't, but that didn't give you the right to say that. And yeah you probably think all my numbers are wrong, which is typical because ever since I came on here people have been giving me crap about everything and I am honestly sick of it man. Trofeo has given me alot of crap because, well heck I really don't know. So I don't have to prove anything to you, you can think it has 40hp for all I care and 2 ft lbs of torque, whatever. The fact is it is my car and I am honestly the only one who thinks it is cool, so all ya'll can think whatever u want.

I did not mean at all to "downgrade your car." It also has nothing to do with the fact that my car has a turbocharger on it. (My car also is only a 3.1L not a 3.8 like yours) The fact is, I know what a 3800 is capable of stock and modded, supercharged, turbocharged, and naturally aspirated (that happens when you have 3 of them). I don't mean to give you crap at all. I just don't appreciate seeing people post things in their signature without any reason or proof of it being true. Any performance numbers posted in my signature I can prove by timeslip, and backup with another timeslip showing a time close to that time, and I assume others have something to base their performance numbers by too, whether it be a timeslip, or from the G-tech, or even a stopwatch. Now with us also owning a '93 Olds 88 with an L27 in it, I know what it is capable of, and 7 seconds 0-60 is not one of those things unless under very high compression or being fed by a power adder, neither of which yours currently has. Now I understand an exhaust and intake will give you a performance gain, but not any huge gain. 10-15hp would be an expected gain. 10-15hp is not enough to make that car go that fast, even if it was very well taken care of and has a very good driver. Now the power you state it has, may not be all that inaccurate, but I can't see a car like yours, with a power level like that, go as fast as you say, it just isn't probable. I am not saying your car isn't that fast, I am just asking if you have any proof of the car being that quick, or maybe even some reasoning on why you say it is that quick. You don't have to prove anything to me, I don't care, I am just simply asking if you have any reasoning or proof, and not trying to start any arguments. If you don't want to tell me that stuff, then go ahead, don't tell me, I was just simply asking, and figured maybe you would be nice enough to fill me in. I never said your car was crap or anything. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with your car, and it sounds like it is probably a very nice car, I just ask for people to be honest and realistic, and it seems to me that you aren't doing that.

Now the moderators are going to come and delete my post, which I hate to see them have to do, but that is what happens when people tell me I am wrong because I have a fast car. (which I still don't understand)

Thanks a lot

Shawn
