Default 25 MILE HIGHWAY/ CITY RACE

OMG tonight was amazing... i was up against a 2000 GP GT... w/ a "75 HP racing chip" :?: ... used in quotes 'cuase i dont buy it, Trailblazer and Sebring... started in my work parking lot and took it on I 75, then back to the lot... i must say the bonneville was the BEST CAR OUT THERE ... i was expecting to come in last becuase i was going to take it easy, but once i hit the open road and my car got up to 110, there was no holding me back ... i came in first by 5 MINUTES!!! it was amazing, and i drive a 1997 green SSE... basically stock w/ 4 people in the car plus my system. It was the amazing manuvering that the bonne has on the freeway and cournering it had on the offramps and onramps, plus the amazing stopping time when i needed to stop before blowing the red light.

Ew, you're in Michigan I see. I don't go on I-75 much, but I'm glad you didn't get caught. Good work though.

it must've been your driving skills because by theory the GP should have been faster.

Vortec 4200 six-cylinder engine that generates 275 hp at 6000 rpm and 275 lb.-ft. of torque at 3600 rpm. In fact, 90 percent of the torque is available from 1600 rpm to 5600 rpm which means power on demand.

Vortec 5300 V8 SFI, (290 HP @ 5200 rpm, 325 lb.-ft. @ 4000 rpm)

we've got an Envoy... they're alright, but slower than you think... he was long gone... and it was my driving skills... it was AMAZING... but prolly only a once in a lifetime thing... too risky. But, i can say i did it The GP'* are not that much faster than the SSE... we were neck to neck up until about 90 MPH until i had to slow down... and actually, i beat him off the line, so we'll see what i can do later on come spring and new exhaust

25 mile race??? That is very risky man, you should be carefull

Going 25 miles without seeing a cop is VERY rare up here, i don't know about the I-75 with all those state troopers....

That must have been fun though, i'd love to do something like that

I wonder if anyone would of tried to get away if you did come across a cop
I probably would try if the other 2 did too....
