Default Hello, seeing alot of Louisina cars

Here on highway thirty in Dallas area. Its strange but Im seeing taxi'* and lots of cars that are from Louisiana.... Our hotels are filling up and the YMCA and such is filling up. I have been listening to the radio, they are interviewing these people and they fear they have no home to go back to and no job. I have a feeling that if the Dome in Houston fills up they will be bringing them up here... Hope the government gives them something to do. Or I hope they can find jobs.... Poor people...
God Bless everyone.

Dude, I've done about 40 LA cars just yesterday, I go back in tomm and I bet there will be more. They're alll over, All of our hotels are full to the brim, They had one woman who said she'* not going back. Apparently she loves the city and the local businesses who have been giving deep discounts to those travellers.

I just wonder what all these poor people are going to do for work, how are they going to pay their bills, feed their families. I know they will get disaster relief and some will have insurance but all that takes a little time. I know the co. I work for is writing out checks left and right. But people still have mortgages, etc. It is so sad and such an awful mess. I wouldn't go back there either.

Craziest thing ever... My dad works for Lowe'*, The Home Improvement store... He'* been looking for a "Team Leader" for his department, Well, A man came into the store today from New Orleans. He said he got out of there late and it wasn't too bad. Watching the news locally and seeing the total destruction decided He'* not going back, He filled out the application and He was a Fully-Trained Team Leader in the same department, He'* even trained for my Dads' job! Yeah. They're done searching, They found the perfect candidate.

Also, My boss, His boss, and a few others locally will be heading down Sunday to help out. I really don't mind buying what little I can at work that much anymore because of that.
