What'* the final word about synthetic oil? I've always heard switching to synthetic oil is a good idea if your under 50K miles.

Switch whenever. If you have leaks, they will leak the same. The cleaning properties are considered better with synthetic.

I switched to it at 133K

Valvoline MaxLife full synthetic would be a good choice if you can find it.

It has seal conditioners also just like MaxLife blend.

when tony had my car, he was running syn-blend.
i had just gave it an oil up grade to mobil 1.
i know when bill and tony had the lim off tony said it was pretty clean in there, so i wish to keep is as clean or cleaner as i tinker with it. now have 194k .ill let ya know how it looks the first lof i do.............
