Lightly oil that antenna anyway, then wipe it dry. It'll hold less moisture to freeze.

And don't put one of them WalMart cowboy antennae balls on it. Kinda makes the problem a little more noticeable....

Bill....standard silicone lubricant on hand. Any penetrant for the antenna?
