never a bad idea to do them all and replace the fluid while you are at it, the fluid gets aerated and spongy after a few years. alot of people dont know that

didnt end up havin the $$$ to get it today, thanks though. i thought it was a split system, not requiring the backs to be done.

Well, you probably could get away with doing just the one you replaced the caliper on. And then I would only do it if the pedal feels firm to begin with. But its always recommended to bleed all four corners.

If you didn't lose fluid in the M/C, you should only have to bleed that circuit.....some guys clamp the rubber hose to prevent fluid loss....I break the bolt at the caliper, then snug it.....have the new caliper and washer ready, then zip off the bolt and immediately transfer the line and new washer to the new caliper.....very little loss of fluid.....hang the caliper with wire and do whatever I have to do before installation......then after installation, bleed that one circuit....
