i dont know. im going to ask for more information when i pick it up, but right now thats the information ive been given. piston replaced.

They prolly figured since your warranty is up in about 400 miles, they would "create" new work to be done in the future. Yea, they do need to call you first prior to doing any unauthorized work.

how does replacing a piston now create more work for future? unless they do a ****-poor job of it or put in a bad one.

The nice part is that any work done without notifying you is legally considered a gift.
They don't get your permission, you don't pay, it'* gone through U.*. courts a bunch of times, always comes up for the consumer.

i think he said it was warranty work

but they should have told you....they are supposed to whenever they do any work that was not preauthorized by you.
